The Annual Banquet is held in late winter/early spring., It is a wonderful affair held in a large hall somewhere mid-Cape. All Chorale members and partners or guests are invited, as are Chorale Volunteers and Friends. Fabulous horsd’oeuvres, gourmet food, fine wine, delightful dining décor, spectacular desserts, AND superb entertainment are offered to all who attend.
Open Messiah Sing in December at St. David’s in South Yarmouth is sponsored by the Chorale. All proceeds are donated to a designated charity, such as the NOAH shelter in Hyannis.
30-Concert Pins are awarded to Chorale members who have – you guessed it – sung 30 concerts with the Chatham Chorale. Concerts counted are all those included in the Chatham Chorale’s regular subscription series (full Chorale and Chamber Singers) plus those included in the Cape Cod Symphony’s regular subscription series at which the Chorale is invited to perform. At the discretion of the Board of Directors, other concerts in which the full Chorale or the Chamber Singers are invited to perform may also be included. The pins are presented to qualified singers at the Annual Banquet.
